Wiring a juniper procumbens

bonsai general - 23 views

In the Bay Island Bonsai workshop this past weekend, I telegraphed my Juniper procumbens. I did not use any heavy cable or cause severe curves – mostly I used a fairly small gauge wire (14-18 in their most around 12) to harden the silhouette. No big changes for now, while the tree is filled after thinning.

As the branches increased density, I will replace the remaining branches heavy with smaller to create an effect less hull. A transplant is also the end, what may happen later this fall.
