My recent trip to Canada took me to visit the courtyards bonsai Anton Nijhuis and Peter Wilson, who have extensive collections of trees collected from Vancouver island in recent years. Thank you both for letting me go! (And to let me take some photos in their backyards …)
I found this napkin dispenser in a cafe on Vancouver Island ferry.
hemlock Anton Nijhuis. This is a very large tree, or tree ‘of two persons “as those who have built a few know them as.
This hemlock good size was in the courtyard of Peter Wilson. “Good size” is a very accurate for anything between two inches and eight feet term. This was somewhere in the middle.
A huge hemlock at Peter. ‘huge’ as in other applications means’ hernia size. “Do not lift without machinery, step way back to take the picture, etc.
very nice pine shore bunjin contorta lodgepole , in the courtyard of Peter … I thought this specimen was very successful at the height of its scientific name. contorted the devil for something in the jungles of Canada. nice trees, guys! Thanks for the visit-
