Rocky Mountain Juniper unusual Styling

This tree has been sitting in my bank for about three years. It has some interesting twists, and some very difficult on old wood that made him a compromising puzzle to find the best forward and tilt angles.

The first year was planted in any way, which turned out to be upright in a box of pumice for the roots to grow again. Who had just been picked up. Next year I put in a box like a waterfall to let it grow strength and see it that way. Well, eventually he did not agree with myself and potted up this spring as an upright again. I imagine that the tree is getting dizzy.

This is a photo essay style of it-

The Rocky Mountain juniper before styling.

One of the best features of the tree, an ancient waterfall, branch of torque.

The big right upper branch was stripped and carved.

Final Photo. The tree is 32 “from the apex to the bottom of the waterfall. The lower branch, in particular, growth needs to fill and balance the lower waterfall. Also the pot training is too big to be a final pot . So there is still development should be done with it, as always. whenever a bonsai is done in one day?

I liked working on this tree. the rigidity of the structure of the old branches basic, it did not allow the usual harmonies to be imposed on them. And I have left the tree more or less as it was. I think that in the future a pattern of very interesting flip pads foliage could develop, almost like water coming down a waterfall over rocks an irregular pattern.
