The first post I made the trip from Japan suggested that eventually publish more photos and tie up some loose ends. One of them was this black pine that took me a long day of wiring with a displaced apex (there is an iron bar in the foliage that can not see very well). The second high shot with the sample in it’s new slant on the display greenhouse.
Black pine in the original front, before restyling. Among the problems that face is the lack of good crust, poor circulation, and a large wound, probably from a root removed. This tree was more than a, somewhat shy of four feet, raised courtyard think.
Black Pine after hairstyle, leaning up on it is set, since the new front, about 100 degrees to the left.
