One of the highlights of visiting shows Bonsai is a chance to see friends and talk with members about their trees . In recent months I have learned about the fungus attacks Satsuki azaleas, she discovered the botanical name of a tree and bought little notes about how pines decandled are doing in different microclimates compared. We are fortunate in the Bay Area have about 20 clubs in the area and another dozen or so within a 2 hour drive. Midori show is conveniently located in Japantown in San Jose which means that the opportunity to visit the Shuei-Do Manju Shop a solution and razor-mochi ice after exposure.

The show this year introduced some varieties with which I am not too familiar (as pyracomeles) and plenty of suiseki. I appreciate the diversity and willingness to learn more about these trees.
