Bonsai regularly provides us with opportunities for creative problem solving. I was impressed, at a recent workshop Bay Island Bonsai, by an effort to maintain a root wandering near the stone on which it was growing. The root was separated from the rock a little to make effort to encourage remain in the place was taken.
