bonsai general - 50 views

Second in our story of two bunjin is this Lodgepole Pine lodgepole subsp. murrayana , which picked me up in the fall of 2013.

is almost taken for granted that the wire is used when a pine styling. But here is one that does not need any. It was carved by simply removing what was not interesting anymore …

This picture is the fall of 2014. The case turns on this slope so the buds grow without wires. This tree is much greater than it seems. Observe the movements of curious branch, all of which simply grew that way for many years. This is our purported front. The next three pictures show the different sides of this tree as it rotates.

2nd side …

3rd side … (or later) …

fourth side.

pruning a large branch, which is almost as thick as the trunk. If allowed to ruin the scale and delicacy tree …

… It’s mostly removed now, but the base of the middle branch is still too gross.

Masking the large branch to see what it would look like without it.

Rama totally eliminated. But there is still a strange branch on this tree, one that does not fit …

Can you say that you took off?

And this is after a year of growth, and a few more bites pruning in early 2016. …

Encapsulation of the tree.

The finishing touches on a class season. This is a pot that I, a non-bon firewood. It has some glaze on it floating wood ashes through the oven, and while any glaze on a pot of conifers is a bit unusual we thought it worked well with this tree. (Enrollment in the rafters to the right was in the car my father for years, but this pine has some time to go before winning it …)

the Lodgepole Pine in April 2016. 45 “/ 114 cm. Now that all foreign branches are gone, long and thick, and those without harmonic movement-this is what it is. it takes a bit growth here and there to achieve uniform density. I intend to continue to maintain this pine wireless, such as natural wild it is refreshing, and serves as a counterpoint to the trees but managed in the courtyard, as the bunjin Shore pine published a couple of weeks I had a lot of wire that makes. it was a challenge to find a pine tree like this that would lend itself to a style wirelessly, and I think it can be a long time before finding another. it was very fun!
