annual exhibition Bay Island Bonsai has a plant sale and sellers including Deer Meadow Bonsai and Bonsai Deadwood. In addition, on the first day of the exhibition, there is a live auction (preview at noon, auction at 1:00 pm). Auctions can be a lot of fun – I recommend checking out if you’re at the show. Here is a small sample of trees in the auction this year.

what about the selection of Yaupon holly pot? I went with the old Japanese pot. (I do not know the manufacturer – see the chop if you’re curious)

I think some of the pots had worked well – it was very close to the selection # 4 – And if a better fit, I could have gone with something like # 10. rather than wait in the future!
For those in the area, I hope to see on display this weekend. To exit outsiders – a lot of pictures are on the way. And for everyone – thanks for reading! Bonsai Tonight recently passed its 5th anniversary – an impossible feat without their support. Thanks and see you soon!
