This past weekend Midori Bonsai Club organized its annual show of 52 at the Northside Community Center in San Jose. Peter tea provides the show, working in a high black pine, Jim Gremel, Jerry Braswell, nursery Carman and others fill the area vendors, and after 23 years in business, Shibui Bonsai made their last appearance in a show of club. Shibui has played a great role in enhancing the US bonsai, providing high quality tools, pots and supplies for enthusiasts Northern California and beyond. Many thanks to Seiji, Della, Carl and everyone else in Shibui for all their hard work over the years – enjoy your newfound free time, they deserve

The presentation!. Club members Midori care with their screens and are not afraid to show a little humor. A Shimpaku with an unusual accent greeted visitors at the door.
