33rd annual exhibition of Bonsai Kai Sei Boku

bonsai general - 1 views

Last weekend, the Bonsai Kai Sei Boku held its 33rd annual exhibition at the Garden Center of San Mateo in San Mateo, California . The event included bonsai displays, area outdoor vendors and demonstration and workshop Dennis Makishima.

Attendance was good and the weather could not have been better. I was there for the whole event as a salesman and had a fantastic time.

Sei Boku counts among its members some of the most serious enthusiasts in the Bay Area. Exhibiting reflects this. As I covered the event before, here are larger than the typical selection of trees of the screen – please enjoy

Satsuki Azalea

Japanese maple

juniper California

bald cypress

Hinoki cypress

Hinoki saikei

which included a photo of name cards, as they were very well done.
